Welldrive, Web and mobile application

Welldrive, Web and mobile application that aims to maximize employee-centric wellness program engagement.

Welldrive aimed to help healthy habit adoption among companies’ employees to improve their health and general wellbeing.

The steps for employees’ enrollment were simple:

First, they had to take an initial survey, which would help them identify their priorities and set goals. Second, based on their goals, they would get custom recommendations of programs (managed by their Organization Admins), they could sign up for. After signing up, the employees would receive text-messages to follow up and make sure they stay on track.

The design’s goal here was to provide a safe and user-friendly environment for participants who were looking to improve their wellness. Through a short and intuitive flow of steps, the user should be able to explore the available programs, enroll in their prefered ones, and set reminders to focus on what they really cared about.

For this purpose, Welldrive needed to create a platform where the different roles (Internal Admin, Organization Admin, and Employees) could perform their tasks.

After an exploratory phase including resources as wireframes, mockups and prototypes, a web application was designed and implemented. The UI included dashboards and panels for all of the roles, and it was based on a bootstrap dashboard template, in order to speed up the development. The Survey UI and interactions were designed from scratch, along with its own icon library and a brand mascot, which would be used to bring a friendly tone to the Employee Portal interactions.

What was the situation/problem?
Welldrive needed to develop an automation platform based on text messages to maximize well-being habit adoption among companies' employees.

How was the problem solved?
A web application was designed, including dashboards and panels for all of the roles, as well as a survey -- which would be initially taken by the companies employees to set a roadmap and define their goals.

How did the design solution alleviate project oversight and save resources, time, and bandwidth?
Design mockups and prototypes provided a clear path on the UI features expectations, which helped to improve the stakeholders' acceptance of each developed feature. Also, decisions such as working with a design based on an existent framework template translated to a significant reduction in development time and costs.
